America On Tech creates pathways for underserved high school sophomores, juniors and seniors to explore careers in technology. Comcast NBCUnites partners with America On Tech to engage employees in speed mentoring and career panels to expose youth to opportunities in the tech workforce across the company.
Big Brothers Big Sisters
Big Brothers Big Sisters' mission is to create and support one-to-one mentoring relationships that ignite the power and promise of youth. NBCU employees in NY & LA participate in a bi-monthly mentorship program which gives volunteers (“Bigs”) and high school students (“Littles”) the chance to develop meaningful relationships, while helping High School Littles build professional skills.
BUILD
BUILD is a national nonprofit dedicated to proving the power of experiential learning through entrepreneurship and igniting the potential of youth in under-resourced communities. BUILD works to fund business and community experience projects for juniors and seniors. buildOn empowers urban youth in the US to transform their neighborhoods and the world through intensive community service. Comcast NBCUnites will partner with buildOn to create an immersive service-learning experience where employees will learn about local community issues and serve alongside students to address those issues.
Change Summer
Change Summer offers campers the chance to expand their horizons through athletics, performing arts, photography, STEM, outdoor adventure, and other activities. Comcast NBCUnites supports the Change Summer News program through resources and advice to counselors and campers.
City Year
City Year closes gaps in high-need schools by supporting students' academic and social-emotional development while also providing schools with the additional capacity to enhance school culture and climate. Comcast NBCUnites provides opportunities to host corps members for career days, participate in MLK Day of Service, and beautify Comcast NBCUniversal-sponsored schools.
Code.org
Code.org's Hour of Code started as a one-hour introduction to computer science to show that anybody can learn the basics, and has since broadened into a worldwide effort to celebrate computer science. Comcast NBCUnites participates annually in Hour of Code in conjunction with City Year NY.
Covenant House
Covenant House's mission is to provide housing and supportive services to youth facing homelessness. Covenant House helps young people transform their lives and put them on a path to independence. Comcast NBCUnites supports career development and coaching events with homeless Covenant House youth and will co-create career educational resources for residents.
Cradles to Crayons
Cradles to Crayons provides children from birth through age 12 who live in homelessness or low-income situations with the essential items they need to thrive at home, at school, and at play. Comcast NBCUnites hosts on-site packing events to fill bags with essential items that are distributed to youth living in homeless and low-income households throughout the NYC area.
Creative Media Group
Creative Media Group educates underserved youth that want to learn cinematography. They engage young people through a creative curriculum and prepare them for a technical career in film, television and digital content creation.
Free Spirit Media
Free Spirit Media partners with young creators, ages 11-25 and primarily from the West and South sides of Chicago, to develop and amplify their unique and critical voices through storytelling and media arts.
Ghetto Film School
Ghetto Film School provides urban youth the opportunity, access, and resources needed to pursue a career in media and film. Comcast NBCunites hosts Ghetto Film School participants for creative workshops with a focus on skills such as production, storytelling, career readiness, and audience development.
Girls Write Now
Girls Write Now mentors underserved young women to find their voices through the power of writing and community. NBCUniversal employees will serve as mentors for the day through a "Writing Works" college preparation workshop and bring encouragement to young women by writing letters focused on an inspirational theme.

The Laureus Foundation
The Laureus Foundation is a global organization that improves the lives of youth and unites communities through the power of sport. Minds Matter
Minds Matter is a college access program for high achieving high school students from low-income families.
